The Group of Applied Informatics - Cooperative Systems deals with the problems and requirements of distributed systems. The working area reaches from communication mechanisms to architecture issues of distributed systems and furthermore to distributed applications, including user interfaces.

Our Research Areas are Knowledge Management, Groupware, Communityware, Web Applications/Web Services and Multimedia in Teaching.
